For this fire rebuild project, the homeowner wanted a modern farmhouse design with a spacious open floor plan while still respecting the original design and accommodating ample space for backyard entertaining.

The previous structure featured four bedrooms but had to be adjusted to include the requested expansion of the primary bedroom and upgraded en suite bathroom which now features a separate walk-in shower and soaking tub as well as a double vanity.

The client requested a gas fireplace for the main living area which we accented with a lofty vaulted ceiling that contrasted the lower flat ceiling over the kitchen giving the transition without closing off the two areas and keeping the open floor plan design.
