Colleen’s Cottage : Historic Renovation

This historic 1904 cottage suffered severe damage from a windstorm that caused a tree to fall on the structure, requiring partial reconstruction. As the county called for a 1 foot increase due to the property being in a flood zone if any improvements were made, the home decided to restore and enhance the remaining structure. We added a new concrete patio and preserved the original architectural charm. Despite the challenges of rebuilding during the pandemic, the owner was able to use the beautifully restored cottage for new tenants once it was complete.
